Visiting My Dad and Top Gun!!!

We had a great visit with my Dad and Tami My step mom. We went to the Cantaloupe Festival, fed the ducks, fished, went to a movie "G Force," went to the park, walked around town, looked at the air planes on base, played with horses and goats. Lots of fun. I even got to visit with a college roommate and her daughter. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Here is some info most people don't know about me. I am an extremely patriotic person. I cry at national anthems and military recruiting tapes. I am a military brat. I grew up supporting a dad of the Navy. When I see the American flag I tear up and marvel at its beauty. I know what family's have to sacrifice. I know what we have to sacrifice for our freedom. My children will know this and I hope they will understand this. I spent some of my time here in the Top Gun NAS. I waited while my dad served in Iraq. I celebrated when he returned. I love my Dad for his service and I love my mom for hers. She was alone a lot and she took care of me with out while my dad served and volunteered for his country. I am grateful and appreciate their service for their country.

I had fun visiting my step Mom and my Dad. They kept us busy and we had a nice visit. Froglegs didn't want to leave. We didn't want to leave just yet. The Blue Angel air show is today and we got to watch them practice a little before we left, but home was calling us and it was time to go home. We saw a couple airplanes zoom past us and shoot straight up really really high like a rocket and turn upside down and zoom past us. It was beautiful. Maybe next visit we'll stay. Thank you for the lovely visit. We enjoyed it and hope Grandma Tami gets better from her illness. We hope to see you soon!!!

The first Air plane is our family fav because of the pirate simble. I beleive it is called the F-14"Tomkat" the TopGun plane.

Having Fun in the SUN!!!

We never thought we would ever have a pool, even a pool that we own and don't rent. There has been a change in me. I am spontaneous and fun and Carpe Diem!!! I find the pool a liberating thing for me. I have found a piece of myself again. At first I didn't know if I would want to swim a lot, but I find freedom in having a pool and I have found I don't take life for granted anymore I seize the day and love life more. I enjoy everything more even my family. Even the kooky ones I just love them and appreciate all. I love you... and miss you and wish you all could come swim with us. I love seeing the pool full of children and people.

Seattle 09'

Every year we go and it is a family favorite. While dad works we sleep and play in the hotel and then when he's done and comes back to the hotel we play till bedtime...
We are going Seattle hey hey hey hey!!!! We went to the Children's Meuseum again...The Locks and Pikes Market.

I have never been to the Locks it is a boat escalator. The water drains and fills until the boats can reenter and travel further. It was fun to watch. I thought it would be boring. The kids thought it was fun. We even got to see fish in glass windows. A must see for the family.

At the Locks we saw a sea lion hunting and devouring a samon. It was closer than the camera shows it was fun for us to watch.














Here are the little fishies that are going to make your fruits and veggies more expensive. Because some people want to save the Delta Smelt, the California Congress has shut off the water for half of the Central Valley which provides most of the fruits and veggies for the U.S. creating a Dust bowl where beautiful orchards and farmlands used to be. This is a big issue in Cali. DIE FISHIES DIE!!!
