Sleepless In Cali: March 2008

Cars!!!! KaCHow!!!

On sunday in Nursery a teacher asked me if we wanted a cars bed. I was so excited. She said her son is now into spiderman and spend a bundle of money on a Cars setup for her son and now he wanted Spiderman. I asked if she wanted money for it a few times and said no. We had been looking for a cheep bed with the Creigs list, but could never seem to find what we needed. SO, we gave up and thought he could just sleep in his porta bed tell he was old enough for a twin. Heavonly Father knew that Froglegs was soon going to be done with his porta bed, because after she offered he's been crawling out of his bed two to three times after we put him to sleep. Now that he has this bed he goes to bed once. I thought it would be harder, but he just loves it so much he doesn't even want to leave at all. He woke up from his nap last yesterday and he saw the car in the kitchen and was so excited!!! Then he say the pillow and he started kissing his mouth, and saying McQueen!!!KaChow!!! The Lightning Mc Queen Pillow he is holding he hasn't let go of it since he has gotten it. It sure does make a difference when your child really loves something! I am so releived I don't have to retrain him to sleep in a bed again!!! Yeah. It is so cute to see this boy really into something.

Sunday afternoon Easter walk

We are going for a walk, going for a walk, going for a walk hey hey hey hey!!! I am cool!!!

We took several fun pictures of the houses fun designs for our future dream house. I particularly loved this tree. The flowers are a beautiful yellow. I didn't think our house pictures were something everyone wanted to see. SO, I just posted the pictures of us at one of the funnest parks in our area. Froglegs wanted to stop so we did.

Easter 2008

Easter here was so beautiful. We had Froglegs find his basket after church and do a egg hunt. Then we ate hot dogs and went for a walk. We just soaked up the sun waiting for our boy to figure out how to egg hunt. He's so cute!!! Yes mommy got into the fun of Froglegs basket. I had to help him!

The Beach by the Zoo

We saw a wind mill at the beach. Thought of Oma and took a picture. The Zoo was right next to the beach so we had to stop to see the ocean. We were so pooped and it was really windy and a little cold so we didn't stay long, but it was a nice visit.

We found a dragon in the sky!!! With all the other kites. It was one cool site to see.

SF Zoo

We are going to the Zoo! When Froglegs puts a pair of sunglasses on he always says, "cool!" in a nice smooth manly way. He also says it with his goo goo goggles but you get the cuteness.

BEARS bears BEARS!!!! No Panda bears though.:(

We learned that these animals have blue tongues and like to eat their buggies with their long tongues.

On Happy Frieday we went to the Zoo. We took a lot of pictures of animals. My favotite was the male Lion he was the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. I especially enjoyed seeing Froglegs play with the farm animals in the petting Zoo. He loved the flamingos too.
