Christmas Morning 2007

Well I posted all the pictures backwards. I didn't do it on purpose. It just worked out that way. Well, later in the day we brought out Frogleg's turtle sandbox. We found it for a great deal at a garage sale for 3 dollars!!! I know it was a great deal. They normally run for 40 bucks. He loves the cold feel of the beach sand in his fingers. He especially loves throwing the sand up in the air. We all had fun playing. We put it in the garage for now. It is just too rainy and cold to put it in the backyard for now. Froglegs loves playing cars and dinos with Daddy. They are so fun to watch and listen to as the pretend noise the different sounds.Brrrrruuum!!!EEERRrrr!!!Cuuuhgh!!!Weeeeooo Weeeooo!!!!mmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMmmm!!

We got a few more cheap dinos and there are some funny and interesting faces. Look at these. I knew Uncle Dan would love these.

THE DINOSAURS ARE TAKING OVER THE CITY!!! THEY ARE MASTICATING EACH OTHER AND LEAVING A DISTRUCTIVE PATH!!! OH, THE CARNAGE!!!


The purple dino is getting his teeth checked by the long neck dentist.


Froglegs was trying to unscrew the front door handle with his fake screw driver. I made a tool belt for him too. I love crafts.

Froglegs got his first power tool today, a play nail gun. Dad is having more fun with it!

Eve of Christmas

Well it's Christmas Eve today and I am busy preparing. Cooking non stop and cleaning the dishes non stop. It started off foggy and beautiful and ended with a great meal. Turkey and all the fixin's.


I baked all day on Christmas Eve. I made the prettiest pies ever. These are the before bake pictures. The pumpkin has cute leaf outs on the crust. The pecan pie has snow men cut outs. It was fun. What do you think? Bet you think it is cool. I do.


It is hard to find food that Froglegs will eat, but these tasty appetizers found a way down his belly. It is a tradition for our family to have these Christmas morning. We finally can test it out on a little one. Bisquick Sausage Appetizers
One Pound sausage(raw)the leaner the better, 2 Cups Chedder grated, 2 1/2 cups bisquick, 1 egg, 1 cup milk. Mix together and form in walnut sized balls and put them in a pan bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Christmas Eve was foggy so we went out to document it, but it doesn't look as foggy in the picture.

Things That Make You Smile

We had Advent tonight and I wish you could have seen how cute froglegs was. We decided to add a bell to the stable as a declaration that Christ lives. Normally I hang an angel from a noose to portray a flying angel above the manger. (Dad thought it was dumb for many years now he is very happy there is a bell there instead.)So, when I took the angel down to replace it with the bell Froglegs had to play with the angel. and he wanted Jesus too. So, I let him play with them and he took the angel and made him kiss the baby Jesus, then he made the angel give him a kiss. It was the most adorable thing Froglegs has ever done. I wish you all could have seen it. Then he picked up Jesus and kissed him and said "Ni Night." So, I made him kiss Jesus again for the camera. I hope you see how cute it is. It isn't the same, but it is still cute. We love you all and wish you a merry Christmas.


Froglegs loves wearing Dad's socks as leg warmers. We finally got a picture for you all to see. He's so cute.

We took a walk today and we enjoyed looking at the Christmas decor. We stopped at a house with a cute train and an elf that popped out a few seconds and went inside a few seconds. Froglegs loved it. Hi and Bye Bye we would say as we enjoyed the bic a boo show. It was fun wish you all were here you would of loved the Elf he was cute.

Dinosaurs!!!

As you can see I needed Christmas as an exuse to make Erics dinosaur mat. I decided to give it to him early. He wants to watch movies all day so I am trying new things. Yesterday I also made a cardboard door and window. He doesn't like it but to destroy it. So, I decided to let him play with the mat. He calls them Di. If anyone has activity ideas please email me. I love new ideas.
