FHE Cabobs

Dad was proud of his Kabobs for dinner. They were soooooo good too. Most of it was from our garden or our neighbors garden. Egg plant, zucchini, tomatoes, basil, peppers, and seasoned chicken. Frogleg's loved the corn on the cob it was a hit!!! We learned about Eternal families. We sang The Temple song with a flip chart and played were is the Salt Lake Temple with flannel board pictures. When he found a pic that looked like a house he would say "house," but when he saw a temple he said "castle." Then I told him "Yes, now can you find our castle the one we are sealed for eternity as a family." Then we looked at a book with the temple square and watched, "The Mountain of the Lord." Frogleg's clapped when ever the Prophet ended a speech at a dedication. He loved seeing the temple inside at the end.

Play Day

Today was a fun day for us. We came home from our walk and the four little birds were split up. Three were flying!!! One was still to shy to fly. Then we had a play date with our friends. We played Dunken Ducks with colored water in the pool( you squirt colored water with empty bubble bath or shampoo bottles), Dinosaur Tracks with play dough, and Noodle Seperation came in a cupcake tin. Fun fun. Then we had nursery snakes watching ABC Sesame Street. OOOH!!!! Froglegs went poo poo in the potty!!!! Yeah. We've had an interesting couple of days. Poop on the floor and pee. Not our best moments. So, we slowed down a little and went to half day potty training. So, much nicer.:)

We can't seem to get rid of the birds above the front door. Swallows!!!Big pile of poop in our entry way. Last time it was three babies. Now it's four!!! Froglegs loves them.Awe so cute!

Sleeping On the Floor

He loves to play at nap time in his room for 30 minutes to 1 hour. We have found him several times sleeping on the floor. Daddy caught him and had to take a picture.

Update On Our BIg Boy

Well, a whole week of potty training. We are on the second week and instead of half the day we are full head on full day potty training. He's doing so well. He hasn't mastered the poo, but the pee is down to an art. I even saw him in nursery wanting to go potty. My trick well, bribery works great for him. If he won't come when I call him I grab the jelly bean and flash it in front of him to inspire him. 5 beans for pee and 3 for trying to pee. It works!!!! I am telling him when he poops he get a giant dinosaur gummy from Grandpa Cooper. We just came from a friends house and he went there in their potty. He has officially marked their toilet with his sent. J/k More potties soon!!! We will conquer all the potties we can!! It will be an adventure. If only we had a toilet seat for him to sit on and it wouldn't leak all over his pants. Any suggestions?

Daddy!!!!

Here we are starting our summer vacation visiting my Dad and his wife Tami. We had a nice tin foil dinner at his neighbors ranch and Froglegs had fun chasing the chickens, feeding the sheep, and dogs. We had great fun with their neighbors. Then the next day we went to Virginia City. The city of Silver Ore and Gold. It was called the Great Bonanza. That is also where the show was filmed I believe. Or it was based on the show. It was a childhood fav of mine, so we had to go. Here is a small tour of the city. We rode a tractor to see the sites. I am reading a book Comstock Lode right now about this city and I am fascinated. The only law in that city was the Firefighters. The Bucket of Blood was a Saloon that everynight when they mopped the floors the floor had so much blood on it the the bucket water was blood red. They have a red light district and they called the girls a special name. I forgot. Anywho we learned that the city actually help build San Fransisco it was such a boom town. Interesting info for you. We also played with Dad's and Tami's horses and Froglegs found the bag of apple treats for the horses and was feeding them like crazy. He is such a cutie. We enjoyed our trip out there and miss the fun. Thanks for such a nice visit Dad and Tami!!! We love you.

He loved Grandpa's singing monkey. "It's a wonderful world"
